Q: If you could learn to create art in any medium you have not tried (or have not mastered), what would it be?

A: Wire because I love the way it can look delicate and vintage or industrial.

Q: What artist you would like to study with (living or dead) and why?

A: Susan Lenart Kazmer is an amazing artist and if I could spend some time picking her brain it would be amazing.

Q: What key piece of advice have you learned in your creative journey that you share with others?

A: Art emulates life. Just like in life, there are not mistakes when it comes to art. Letting go of expectations is part of the process and the journey. Through art I have discovered who I am, gotten through extremely tough times, and had really clear moments of joy.

Q: What adornment could you not go without?

A: Something shiny. It is very rare that my art does not have something reflective on it somewhere. Pretty shiny things make me a happy people.

Q: What 5 items do you have in your studio that you use nearly every day?

A: Glitter in some form, beads, wire, book paper, paint.

Hi all. Princess stalker here. Just wanted to say I love Elena and I now LOVE me some Ice Resin. At CHA I commented that I was afraid of my two bottles of resin stuff. I now can say after therapy and some jello shots (just kidding about the therapy) I am now resining my world! Seriously, I love this stuff now. It just took that first pour. I had gone through five bezels trying to use various “one-bottle” stuff because I was afraid of the number two. People don’t be scared! It worked first time and every time since. It will change your life. Ice Resin. I love it.
