More than ever, I am inspired by Mexican Folk Art. My home, my art and my jewelry are all a direct reflection of that.
I have always been attracted to the Sacred Heart or Flaming Heart in my constant hunt of flea markets, garage sales and art. The symbol holds much meaning, but the word that strikes me most of all is devotion. Devotion to all things you love most is truly sacred…and this piece is a reminder of that.
One of my favorite quotes by Barbara DeAngelis is, “Love’s greatest gift is its ability to make everything it touches sacred”, and I simply couldn’t agree more.
