Fairy Dance Necklace – Lesley Venable
Posted on | January 16, 2013 | 6 Comments
Salutations from Lesley!
My inspiration for this necklace began first with me finding the sweet little fairy graphic on an old piece of sheet music.
The moment I unpacked the hobnail shield bezel I knew I had found this little fairy’s home.
Because it was an open-backed bezel I was also able to use a page from an antique German book. Fairy Dance was created using an image from an old piece of sheet music.
Scrap chain, pearl and glass beads, and ICE Resin® completed the piece.
Sheet music and antique (and almost antique) books can be found in second-hand shops, yard sales, and sometimes library friends’ stores in the local public library. It is fun to search and you never know what gems you may find!
Happy Creating,
Lesley Venable

Sigh, so pretty. I love the shape of the bezel, this image goes perfectly with it.
