I love the Rue Romantique® bezels that Kristen Robinson chose for her line and have been waiting for just the right combination of elements to use it in a piece of art.
This little dress is a reclaimed old doll dress, it had some flaws, but with the addition of some venetian plaster and some touches of paint, it became the perfect piece for this collage.
Using the Rue Romantique® bezel, adding a bit of torn paper, a gem tintype and a little fabric flower and filling it with ICE Resin® turned it into the perfect piece to hang from the neckline of the little dress. The Hobnail bezel is filled with a red ceramic heart, ICE Resin and a little nip of a branch. Adding this bezel to the bottom of the Rue Romantique® bezel seemed just the right touch to finish the dress. Then the whole piece was added to an old piece of metal and hung with a ribbon!
P.S. Here is another repurposed dress my friend, and ICE Special Project Team member, JoAnn Pierotti made: click here.
