Home decor? Yes. Upcycle? Of course! Paper crafts? You bet. Rubber stamps? Her own line premiered through Stampington in ’06. Teacher? Yes. You may have enjoyed her classes online, When Creativity Knocks, at CHA, Maker Fairs, Scrapper’s Dream Vacations and many others. Writer? Check her out in Bella Crafts Quarterly, Scrap n Art, and The Polymer Arts Magazine.

Susan Weckesser joins our Special Projects Team

The latest artist to join ICE Resin’s Special Projects Team is Susan Weckesser. She lives with her family and a couple of cats in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada.

A professional artist, the whimsical Susan Weckesser draws her inspiration from her dad, children her environment and color. She holds a BA in Education from the University of Alberta with minors in Art and French. She is a wife, a mom, a photographer, a former elementary school teacher and a poet.

Susan has been designing, writing and teaching painting/crafting for twenty-six years.

She designs for manufacturers and publications. She’s a contributing writer for the Canadian Scrapbooker, and her publications credits include Canadian Living, Creating Keepsakes, Cresendoh, FaveCrafts, and Scrapbooks and News Today. She makes her own crafting/scrapbooking videos and is a sought-after teacher at CHA, Paint in ALberta, and The Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival to name but a few.

Susan’s “Live in Color” paper line and has her own line of stamps at Unity Stamp Co.

Mixed-media and paper crafts is Susan’s passion but she also likes making jewelry.
